The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Syros with Milos and Santorini and from the office of apostolic administrator ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of Candia, Greece, presented by Bishop Petros Stefanou, and has appointed Archbishop Sevastianos Rossolatos, emeritus of Athens, as apostolic administrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the same ecclesiastical circumscription.
