The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Mark S. Rivituso, titular of Turuzi and auxiliary of Saint Louis, United States of America, as metropolitan archbishop of Mobile, United States of America.
Curriculum vitae
Archbishop-elect Mark Steven Rivituso was born on 20 September 1961 in Saint Louis, Missouri, in the metropolitan archdiocese of the same name. He studied at Cardinal Glennon College Seminary and at Kenrick Seminary in Saint Louis. He subsequently obtained a licentiate in canon law from Saint Paul University in Ottawa, Canada.
He was ordained a priest for the metropolitan archdiocese of Saint Louis on 16 January 1988.
He has held the following offices: parish vicar of Saint Ambrose in Saint Louis (1988-1990) and of Immaculate Conception in Dardenne Prairie (1990-1993), teacher at Saint Dominic High School in O’Fallon (1998-1993), administrator of Saint Margaret of Scotland in Saint Louis (1993-1994), member of the Metropolitan Tribunal (1993-1994 and 1996-2004), parish vicar of Saint Jerome in Bissell Hills (1996-2004), judicial vicar of the Court of Second Instance (2005-2011), parish priest of Curé of Ars in Shrewsbury (2008-2013), and vicar general (2011-2018).
He was appointed titular bishop of Turuzi and auxiliary of Saint Louis on 7 March 2017, and received episcopal consecration the following 2 May.

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the dioceses of Frosinone-Veroli-Ferentino and Anagni-Alatri, united in persona Episcopi, presented by Bishop Ambrogio Spreafico.
The Holy Father has appointed Archbishop Santo Marcianò, former archbishop military ordinary of Italy, as bishop of the dioceses of Frosinone-Veroli-Ferentino and Anagni-Alatri, maintaining his title of archbishop ad personam.
Curriculum vitae
Archbishop Santo Marianò was born on 10 April 1960 in Reggio Calabria, in the province and metropolitan archdiocese of the same name. He was awarded a degree in economics and commerce from the University of Messina, and a bachelor’s degree in theology from the Pontifical Lateran University of Rome. He also obtained a licentiate in sacred liturgy, as well as a doctorate from the Pontifical Athenaeum of Sant Anselm in Rome.
He was ordained a priest on 9 April 1988.
He has held the following offices: parish priest in Santa Venere and parish vicar of Santa Maria del Divino Soccorso (1988-1991), spiritual father at the Archepiscopal Pius XI Seminary (1991-1996), rector of the seminary and lecturer in liturgy and sacramentary theology (since 1996), and director of the Office for the Pastoral Care of Vocations (since 2000). He has served as episcopal vicar for the permanent diaconate and ministries.
He was elected archbishop of Rossano-Cariati on 6 May 2006, and received episcopal consecration the following 21 June.
On 10 October 2013 he was appointed military ordinary for Italy, terminating his office upon reaching the age of 65.

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the office of apostolic visitator for Chaldean faithful resident in Europe, presented by Bishop Saad Sirop Hanna, and has appointed Archbishop Habib Hermez Jajou Al-Nawfali of Bassorah of the Chaldeans to the same office.

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Kamyanets-Podilskyi of the Latins, Ukraine, presented by Bishop Leonid Maksymilian Dubrawski.
The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Eduard Kava, O.F.M. Conv., until now auxiliary bishop of the metropolitan archdiocese of Lviv of the Latins, as bishop of the diocese of Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Ukraine.
Curriculum vitae
Bishop Eduard Kava, O.F.M. Conv., was born on 17 April 1978 in Mostyska, in the region of Lviv, Ukraine.
On 1 October 1996 he entered the Order of Friars Minor Conventual. From 1995 to 1999 he received his religious formation in Krakow, Poland. He subsequently carried out his studies in philosophy and theology at the Mary Queen of Apostles Major Seminary in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. He received priestly ordination on 1 June 2003.
He returned to Ukraine, and from 2003 to 2004 served as parish vicar and then parish priest of the parish of the Friars Minor Conventual in Boryspil. From 2004 to 2009 he was superior of the Community in Kremenchuk. From 2010 to 2012 he was parish priest and superior of the local community in Matskivtsi. From 2012 to 2016 he was superior of the convent in Boryspil. From 2016 to 2017 he held the role of guardian of the convent of Saint Anthony in Lviv.
In addition, from 2008 to 2017 he was delegate of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual for Ukraine.
On 13 May 2017 he was appointed auxiliary bishop of the metropolitan archdiocese of Lviv of the Latins. On the following 21 June he received episcopal ordination. Since 2023, he has served as secretary of the Ukrainian Episcopal Conference.
