Resignation and succession of metropolitan archbishop of Belém do Pará, Brazil

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the metropolitan archdiocese of Belém do Pará, Brazil, presented by Archbishop Alberto Taveira Corrêa. He is succeeded by Archbishop Júlio Endi Akamine, S.A.C., until now coadjutor archbishop of the same metropolitan archdiocese.
