TOWARDS THE JUBILEE OF TEENAGERS
FROM 25 TO 27 APRIL THE MAJOR JUBILEE EVENT DEDICATED TO BOYS AND GIRLS

(Vatican City, 16 April 2025) – From Friday 25 to Sunday 27 April 2025, Rome will host one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the Holy Year, the first Jubilee of Teenagers in the history of Jubilees, dedicated to boys and girls all over the world. To date, over eighty thousand teenagers have enrolled, a number that is constantly increasing, and they will come to the capital to live an experience of faith, spiritual growth and intercultural exchange.

The Jubilee of Teenagers will involve tens of thousands of young people, mostly from Italy, but also in large groups from the United States, Brazil, India, Spain, Portugal, France, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Germany, Chile, Venezuela, Mexico, Australia, Argentina, Nigeria, Australia, and many others. Numerous dioceses will be represented, with their youth pastoral associations and movements, including Agesci, Italian Catholic Action, the Salesian Youth Movement, and many others who accompany the spiritual growth and integral formation of young people.

The Jubilee programme can be consulted on the official website. In particular, there will be the initial prayer moment of the “Via Lucis” on 25 April at EUR, then the “Dialogues with the City” meetings during the day on 26 April, which will end with the great concert at the Circus Maximus, to be held from 17.00 to 19.00. Among the many artists who will participate in the musical celebration, the presence of one of the most popular Italian pop bands among young people in Italy and abroad, The Kolors, is announced. All other names will be announced shortly.

The Jubilee event will culminate with the Eucharistic Celebration on Sunday 27 April, at 10.00 in St. Peter’s Square, during which Blessed Carlo Acutis, a very young example of faith and holiness in everyday life for the new generations, will be canonized.
