UPDATE ON THE JUBILEE OF TEENAGERS

(Vatican City, 21 April 2025) – In unity with all God’s people, the Catholic Church and the entire world, in mourning we join in prayer for the passing of the Holy Father, Pope Francis.

The Jubilee of Teenagers is confirmed in its original programme. There will be a moment of the prayer of the “Via Lucis” on 25 April, the “Dialogues with the City” in the squares on Saturday 26 April, the pilgrimages to the Holy Door, and the Holy Mass, without the Canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis, in Saint Peter’s Square on 27 April. In the period of mourning, the musical celebration at the Circus Maximus scheduled for 26 April at 17.00 is cancelled.
