9 JUNE, JUBILEE OF THE HOLY SEE

(Vatican City, 9 June 2025) – Today the Jubilee of the Holy See, the Jubilee event of the Holy Year 2025 dedicated to Holy See employees, will be held in Rome.

The day will begin at 9.00, with the possibility, for participating staff, to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the atrium of the Paul VI Hall. At 10.00, again in the Paul VI Hall, Sister Maria Gloria Riva, religious sister of the Perpetual Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament, will lead a meditation for everyone in the presence of Pope Leo XIV. At 10.30 the procession will begin, led by the Pontiff who will carry the cross of the Jubilee, the cardinals, bishops and priests, followed by lay personnel, who from the Paul VI Hall will arrive at the parvis of Saint Peter’s Basilica, in order to pass through the Holy Door. The Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by the Pope, will be held at approximately 11.30 in the Vatican Basilica, at the conclusion of the Jubilee pilgrimage.
