On 12 and 13 September, 15 thematic round tables in symbolic locations in Rome
World Meeting on Human Fraternity 2025: Accreditation procedures
VATICAN, 8 SEPT. – The World Meeting on Human Fraternity 2025 will be held in Rome on 12 and 13 September. The 15 thematic round tables will involve the participation of figures such as Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, Archpriest of Saint Peter’s Basilica, Vicar General of Vatican City and President of the Fabric of Saint Peter; Graça Machel Mandela, activist and politician, co-founhder of The Elders; and Maria Ressa, Noble Peace Prize laureate 2021, discussing topics related to fraternity.
Press accreditation is necessary to participate in the following events:
· Children’s Round Table – Vatican, Synod Hall - 12 September, 15.00
· Information Round Table – Campidoglio, Protomoteca - - 12 September, 15.00
· Artificial Intelligence Round Table – ABI Headquarters, scuderie of Palazzo Altieri - - 12 September, 15.00
· Assembly of Humankind – Campidoglio, Hall of the Orazi and Curiazi – 13 September, 9.00
· Free concert “Grace for the World” – Saint Peter’s Square – 13 September, 21.00
ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE
Journalists and media operators who wish to participate must apply, no later than 24 hours before the event, via the Holy See Press Office online accreditation system, at: https://press.vatican.va/accreditamenti
Select the event “World Meeting on Human Fraternity” and indicate the events in which you would like to participate. Confirmation will be sent via the same accreditation system.
THE PROGRAMME
The beating heart of the Meeting of 12 September will be the fifteen round tables on the themes of: Agriculture, Environment and Sustainability, Local Administrations, Art and Literature, Children, Economics and Finance, Education, Political Formation, Businesses, Information, Artificial Intelligence, Work, Health, Sport, and the Third Sector.
On Saturday 13 September at 9.00, in the Hall of the Orazi and Curiazi at the Campidoglio, the Assembly of Humankind will be held. It will be a moment of extraordinary value, led by Nobel Laureates and representatives of international institutions. At 21.00, in Saint Peter’s Square, there will be a free concert entitled “Grace for the World”, featuring internationally-renowned artists including Andrea Bocelli, Pharrell Williams, John Legend and Karol G. The evening will be made unique by a show of 3500 drones which will illuminate the sky above the dome of Saint Peter’s. On Thursday 11, from 22.00 to 24.00, it will be possible to view the test flights of the drones from Piazza Pio XII.
